We show how the maximally helicity violating (MHV) scattering amplitudes for gravitons can be related to current correlators and vertex operators in twistor space. This is similar to what happens in Yang-Mills theory and raises the possibility of a direct twistor-string-like construction for N = 8 supergravity.

A model of gauge mediation with m 3/2 ≃ O(1) eV is considered to motivate 100 TeV colliders. Massive mediators with standard-model and supersymmetry-breaking gauge quantum numbers let low-scale dynamics induce sizable soft masses of the standard-model superpartners. We circumvent potential phenomenological difficulties that such low-scale models tend to cause.

We show that hard electroproduction is a promising way to study exotic hybrid mesons, in particular through the hybrid decay channel H → πη. We discuss the πη generalized distribution amplitude, calculate the production amplitude and propose a forward-backward asymmetry as a signal for the hybrid meson production.

We derive properties of the radial evolution of scalar fields in anti-de Sitter spacetime from quantum mechanics, through a factorisation of the path integral. We describe why we anticipate application of these results to the AdS/CFT correspondence.

We consider a 2 + 1-dimensional SU(N) lattice gauge theory in an axial gauge with the link field U 1 set equal to one. The term in the Hamiltonian containing the square of the electric field in 1-direction is non-local.
